We've known it's coming, but here is the first look at Infiniti's new petrol electric exec: the M35 Hybrid. As signalled by the Essence concept car, Infiniti is keen to stress that its hybrid cars won't be just about saving pennies – they'll be fun to drive too. Sounds like a dig at sensible old Lexus to us.The new Infiniti M35 Hybrid will be the upmarket Nissan arm's first hybrid in its 20 years of building exec rivals to the default Audis, BMWs and Mercedes.
Porsche on Friday released a new video showing the lineage and development of the latest 911. The three-minute clip provides a visual history lesson of all things Porsche, both on the road and on the track, as an evolving shell of its latest 911 displays iconic images and clips. With a hugely impressive 263 entries in total, the judges of the 2012 Car Design News – Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Competition had an unenviable task ahead of them when they gathered at the firm's head quarters in Russelsheim, Germany on Monday 21 May. Their challenge was to shortlist a number of students to progress to the next stage of the competition. The winner will be announced at the 2012 Paris motorshow.
